Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov, who is being treated at the Moscow Central Clinical Hospital, spoke about the reasons for his hospitalization.
According to him, he went to the hospital due to fever, which began to bother him two days ago. “I decided to take preventive measures,” the RBC politician explained, noting that he feels fine. The communist leader also noted that his tests were good, his pressure was normal, but he did not give a clear answer about the result of the test for covid. “Chronicles develop it faster, they may not feel it,” Zyuganov said cryptically.
The media reported on the politician’s hospitalization on February 11 with signs of an acute respiratory viral infection. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation noted that computed tomography did not reveal any lung damage in Zyuganov. Subsequently, there were rumors about a meeting between the politician and the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party at the Central Clinical Hospital. Zyuganov soon denied this information, adding that Vladimir Zhirinovsky was in the covid department.
