The head of the Council of Deputies of the Meshchansky District of Moscow from United Russia, Alexander Zakuskin, was forced to change his place of residence due to threats that began to come to him in social networks after an attack on a Chechen trader near a mosque. It is reported by Znak.com, referring to the Baza Telegram channel.
A 68-year-old woman was reportedly selling sausage outside the mosque. According to her, Zakuskin tried to punish her for illegal trade – he scattered boxes of goods with his feet, threatened with deportation, and when she tried to show the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, he sprinkled pepper gas in her face. The woman received first-degree burns to her eyes.
Activist Elena Aruchidi told about the incident on Facebook. According to her, Zakuskin came to her house and demanded to remove the post.
After the outcry, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov called Zakuskin and called him a “geek.” Chechen Ombudsman Mansur Soltaev said that he would apply to the Prosecutor General’s Office with a demand to open a case under the article on intentional infliction of bodily harm.
According to Baza, after a call from Delimkhanov, Zakuskin began to receive threats through social networks. Unknown people write that they will cut off the official’s head. As a result, the deputy decided to move out of his apartment.
