Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko has approved a plan for the work of the city authorities and the evacuation of the city in the event of an alleged “Russian invasion”. “Our efforts are aimed both at preventing or overcoming possible provocations and withstanding a military attack,” the mayor, who had previously expressed his readiness to defend the capital with weapons in his hands, announced.
According to the press service of the Kiev City State Administration (KSCA), the corresponding document determines the location of the assembly evacuation points, as well as the amount of transport needed and safe places for citizens to stay. In total, the fund of protective structures of civil protection of the capital includes over 500 storage facilities and about 4.5 thousand dual-use structures.
Earlier, Vitali Klitschko, pedaling the theme of “Russian invasion”, posted on the Internet a patriotic video calling on citizens to join the ranks of territorial defense. One of the volunteers who starred in this video is his brother boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
