Empresa Eléctrica Quito (EEQ) reported, through a bulletin, on the suspension of electricity service in the Turubamba sector, located in the south of the capital. This power outage will be from 08:30 to 14:00 this Saturday, February 12, 2022.
The reason for the suspension is preventive and corrective maintenance work of primary B of the Epiclachima Substation.
The compromised perimeter is along the Teniente Hugo Ortiz avenue, between Solanda and Morán Valverde avenues.
These works would be necessary to maintain the distribution system operability in the sector.
The company recommended that users take the due precautionary measures to solve their activities during the power outage. They also appreciated the understanding of the citizens who live in this commercial sector of the city. (I)
