The Security Service of Ukraine exposed three Ukrainians who, allegedly on the instructions of the Russian special services, were to commit provocations against the population of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the message on the website of the SBU.
According to preliminary information, the Russian special services “carefully developed a plan of provocations and sabotage directed against their own population, and intended to blame the Ukrainian side for this.”
As the SBU clarifies, three residents of the Kiev region were recruited for these purposes – “comers from criminal circles.” They were to form two groups of five people each.
For participation in provocations, they were promised a reward of $4,000 each, according to the SBU.
According to the department, the curators promised the provocateurs to send them home after completing the task.
“However, they planned to exponentially liquidate the provocateurs during the arrest,” the SBU claims.
The organizers and their accomplices were simultaneously detained in Kiev and the region.
