Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper reported that lawyers for the mother of the late dollar billionaire Bosov appealed in court against the actions of the investigator, who opened and almost immediately stopped a criminal case on an attempt to steal the businessman’s inheritance, which, according to them, was undertaken by his widow Katerina Bosov, who rewrote the shares Alltech company. In a statement filed with the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, the lawyers of the mother of the deceased, Lyudmila Bosova, ask that the actions of the senior investigator for especially important cases of the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Alexander Vybornov, be declared illegal. It was he who, on September 9 last year, opened a criminal case on especially large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), which concerned the seizure of the inheritance of the deceased coal king, but already on October 13 he stopped it.
The reasons that prompted Bosov to take the last step are still being investigated by the investigators of the ICR, who only on August 20, 2020, at the insistence of the relatives of the deceased, opened a criminal case on incitement to suicide (Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the Novye Izvestia newspaper, as well as the Vek publication, the criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud) under the number 12101460225000125 in relation to citizen Bosov, on September 9, 2021, was terminated on October 13, 2021 before the expiration of the stipulated art. 162 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation 2-month period of preliminary investigation.
“Given the wide public outcry caused by the story of the widow of Katerina Bosov and the deceased Dmitry Bosov, as well as all the ups and downs with the entrepreneur’s inheritance, I ask you to organize a check of the facts presented in the media about the termination of the criminal case against citizen Bosov, and if they are confirmed check the legality of the actions of the investigating authorities and, if necessary, take prosecutorial response measures, ”said Deputy Tkachev to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
