A man died this morning in a house on Chimborazo and Julián Coronel streets, in the center of Guayaquil.
Jackson Maldonado, head of control of the Nine October District, indicated that the uniformed officers learned of the novelty at approximately 04:00 through a call to ECU911, so they moved to the area.
According to residents, the man arrived with an aggressive attitude at midnight and at 02:00 he had hallucinations that they wanted to kill him and destroyed several items that were in the home.

Residents indicated that the man had been involved in previous incidents due to addiction problems. On this occasion, he began to break objects and had injuries to his body.
When requesting assistance from teams, police gendarmes confirmed the death of the man.
The paramedics who attended the place presume that the death would have been caused by an overdose. The matter is still under investigation.
In the midst of the consternation of relatives and neighbors, Legal Medicine was in charge of removing the body before 08:00. The Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences Laboratory is expected to carry out the autopsy of law to determine the specific causes of death. (I)
