Residents of the Rostov region demand to cancel the planned increase in tariffs for overhaul in the region. Earlier, the governor of the region Vasily Golubev spoke about plans to increase the tariff at a press conference.

Now the tariff for overhaul in the region is 9.92 rubles per square meter, and will immediately rise to 20 rubles. This level is comparable to Moscow.

Rostovites calculated that residents of a 1-room apartment (33 sq. m.) would have to pay – 660 rubles. per month, 7 920 rubles. in year; 3-room apartment (58 sq. m.) – 1,160 rubles. for one month and 13,920 rubles. in year.

At the same time, in other regions of the South of Russia, tariffs are much lower:

  • Krasnodar Territory RUB 6.95 (an increase from 5.32 rubles to 6.95 rubles, an increase of 30.6%).
  • Vladimir region 7.5 rubles (an increase from 7.15 rubles to 7.5 rubles, an increase of 4.9%).
  • Voronezh Region RUB 9.82 (an increase from 9.44 rubles to 9.82 rubles, an increase of 4%).
  • Volgograd region 7.5 rubles (an increase from 7.01 rubles to 7.5 rubles, an increase of 5.63%).
  • Stavropol Territory RUB 8.63 in houses without elevator equipment and 9.63 rubles. in buildings where there are elevators (from July 1, 2022, an increase of 1 ruble 9.63 rubles and up to 10 rubles 63 kopecks, an increase of 11.6% and 10.4%, respectively).
  • Republic of Kalmykia RUB 8.42 (an increase from 7.88 rubles to 8.42 rubles, an increase of 6.8%).

The highest fare in Moscow is 20.99 rubles. per 1 sq.m, but now Rostov will be comparable to it. “At the same time, the government of the Rostov region does not take into account that the amount of payments should correspond to the income of the population, for example, the average salary in the Don region is 35.5 thousand rubles, and in Moscow – 109.5 thousand rubles,” the authors note petitions.

“You should also pay attention to the fact that many houses, according to objective estimates, will not wait for overhaul, although residents regularly pay contributions. The terms for major repairs are stretched for decades, and the real condition of the houses is often not taken into account, if the roof in the house is leaking today in 2022, it needs to be repaired today, and not in 2049, ”the authors and signatories are outraged.
