There are more than 2,000 soldiers and more than 4,000 police officers who would participate in these operations in the streets. This was stated this Thursday by the Government of Guayas and this Friday, with the presence of the president and the government ministers, Alexandra Vela, and of Defense, Luis Hernández, other points were analyzed.

The security meeting in the Guayas governorate took place after the president gave an announcement to the country in which he assured that the price of fuels and basic food products is frozen.

Minister Vela explained when leaving the meeting that the results cannot be immediate. He stressed that until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, no more violent deaths had been reported.
