The tension between Russia and Ukraine is just a “war of words” on both sides. This opinion was expressed by Czech President Milos Zeman on CNN Prima NEWS.

He stressed that he “does not share the fears” about a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine. According to Zeman, Russia is aware that it will lose more from a possible invasion than it will gain, Gordon quotes him.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba hastened to answer the Czech leader. In his opinion, this is “another attempt by President Zeman to damage Ukrainian-Czech relations.” It will end with another failure, Kuleba added.

“I look forward to seeing Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky in Ukraine. He represents a responsible government that understands the danger for the Czech Republic and Europe as a whole from the Russian aggression against Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, Zeman noted that he does not support the sending of Czech troops to the eastern borders of NATO. According to him, he would not provide artillery shells to Ukraine free of charge, but would rather sell them to Kiev.
