The teacher-organizer Serafima Saprykina was fired from the St. Petersburg gymnasium No. 168 only because she read the poems of the repressed poets Alexander Vvedensky and Daniil Kharms to high school students. The portal news-kmv.ru writes about this.

The teacher herself wrote a post on Facebook, in which she explained that, having learned about her lesson, the school principal called an emergency meeting. Vvedensky and Kharms were called “enemies of the people” and “accomplices of the fascists”, deservedly captured in their time by the NKVD. Saprykina, according to her, tried to protect the poets, recalling their rehabilitation, but to no avail. The director gave her an ultimatum: either quit yourself, or you will go under the article of loss of confidence.

The teacher wrote a statement of her own free will.

“If we don’t talk about such situations, if we don’t call evil by name, then after all, guys, the new 37th is here, one step closer to us and our children,” Saprykina shared her emotions on the social network.

The director of the gymnasium is 80-year-old Svetlana Lebedeva.
