The moment of the attack on the former State Duma deputy Maxim Shingarkin in the center of Moscow was caught on video. It was published by Telegram channel 112.

The footage shows how a man approaches the car, and at that moment an unknown person runs up to him. He starts beating him up.

Earlier it was reported that 53-year-old Shingarkin was attacked, after which he was brought to the hospital with a suspected broken nose. The ex-deputy could have been injured when he was walking to his car after filming a TV show – the attacker ran up to him from behind and inflicted several strong blows on his face, FAN noted. At the same time, according to Shingarkin’s assistant, the cause of the attack could be the public work of a politician who is actively involved in environmental issues.

Shingarkin himself stated that “he was tracked down for a week.” At the same time, he allegedly scheduled a meeting for the persecutors, at which they were supposed to convey a message to him, and when he went out to talk, they began to beat him.

Shingarkin was a member of the State Duma in 2011-2016 and was a member of the LDPR faction.
