Families say goodbye to the fatalities of the flood that affected La Comuna and La Gasca, in the north center of Quito

To the communal house of La Comuna came the coffins of Johanna Iza and her grandmother Rosa Guamán. The two were in their house, located under the ecuavali court that was washed away with the flood. Patrick Minago, Rosa’s son and Johanna’s uncle, denounced that in social networks a fake account has been published on behalf of the affected family to request economic collaboration. “I hurt for my sister and her son, who they were left with nothing. The house disappeared and we have not received any help,” he asserted.

Minango also pointed out that the other accounts that have been published on social networks in the name of this family are false, for which he asked that they be reported.
