Lyubov Drozdova, Chief Freelance Specialist in Medical Prevention at the Russian Ministry of Health, spoke about measures to prevent the development of cancer.

According to her, a good prevention is to eat at least 3 kg of vegetables every week. The expert also advises adding daily physical activity to the daily routine.

“We have a figure, 400 g of vegetables and fruits. How to measure it? In fact, this is a fairly large portion of salad, it’s a few apples, but it’s really better when it’s mostly vegetables, not fruits, ”explained Drozdova.

At the same time, the doctor urged to abandon products that have undergone deep culinary processing. We are talking, in particular, about sausages. “These are serious and absolutely proven risks of developing diseases, primarily lesions of the gastrointestinal tract,” Drozdova emphasized, the Moskva agency reports.

As for physical activity, the expert recommends exercising 30 minutes every day or at least two hours once a week.
