Holguín pointed out that the Chinese authorities showed their solidarity and commitment to cooperate with Ecuador to care for victims and damages from the tragedy due to the flood in La Gasca, a Quito neighborhood, and also for the problems in Cotopaxi due to the weather. On Saturday they will expand the information on the cooperation.
The origin of the alluvium that affected La Gasca and La Comuna, in Quito, was natural and is not related to the Urkupamba ash heap, assured the Municipality
Holguín also reported that, during the stopover in Spain, the president William Lasso received the call from King Philip VI, who also offered collaboration for the tragedies recorded in Ecuador, due to the winter season.
