The eldest daughter of the former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, deputy of the lower house of parliament Dariga Nazarbayeva is in Nur-Sultan, where she is undergoing rehabilitation after suffering a coronavirus. Zakon.kz writes about this with reference to the words of the assistant to the deputy Zhanna Ermekova.

When protests began in Kazakhstan, Dariga Nazarbayeva stopped attending parliamentary meetings and disappeared from the media field. Some sources believed that she went abroad with her family. In mid-January, Ermekova announced that Nazarbayeva was being treated for COVID-19 in the capital of Kazakhstan.

The ORDA Telegram channel, citing political scientist Yerbol Edilov, reports different information: the daughter of the ex-president is in Dubai in the UAE.

Let us add that earlier the media “sent” Nazarbayev himself to Dubai. Journalists, in particular, wrote that the ex-president of Kazakhstan, who had not reported himself since the beginning of January, flew to the UAE. True, later the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UAE denied this information and stated that Nazarbayev was in Kazakhstan.
