“As a result of the cancellation of 35,000 licenses and 3,500 users, the ANT has suffered a series of affectationss to the system and the database, as well as attacks and personal threats to the team of servers in charge of these processes, ”he said in a statement.
Daniel Cardenas, deputy executive director of the ANT, said that services like issuance of licenses, duplicates, locks, unlocks, vehicle cancellations, certificates, data update for people and vehicles, among others, are suspended.
He added that also affects enrollment processes of all the municipalities that have transit competence since they use its system.
Before noon, Cárdenas mentioned that services were suspended for the damage caused by that computer attack that occurred in the early morning hours and that they were working to restore it, although they did not specify a date.
For the official, the solution is not immediate.
Regarding those responsible, he mentioned that they were performing the research internal and external.
According to Cárdenas, his database is backed up and intact.
