Given the increase in the basic salary for this 2022, alimony registers an increase, this is how the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) announced the corresponding percentages for this new year.

“To calculate the alimony, the income of the obligor will be taken into account, expressed in unified basic salaries (SBU), the total number of children that the obligor has, even if they have not claimed it and placed at the appropriate level. Once the amount has been calculated, it will be divided among the total number of children who must receive child support, obtaining the corresponding minimum value for each of them, and the pension will be set according to the portion that corresponds to the dependents who have sued”, is specified in the ministerial agreement.
