Only 3% of Ukrainians trust Russian media. Moreover, the difference between distrusting and trusting is 75%. The Russian media have a negative balance in all Ukrainian regions, but residents of the east of Ukraine are somewhat less critical of them. These are the data of a survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on December 3–11, 2021, cited by Interfax-Ukraine.
32% of respondents trust the Ukrainian media, and the balance of trust-distrust is -7%. It is somewhat worse just in the east of the country.
President Volodymyr Zelensky is trusted by 27% of respondents, and not trusted by 50%. The balance of trust-distrust is -23%. The corresponding indicators of the government and the Verkhovna Rada are even worse.
Among social institutions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, ordinary people and the Church continue to enjoy the greatest trust among Ukrainians, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on December 3-11, 2021.
The Ukrainians have the highest confidence in the armed forces: 72% of respondents trust the army, and the balance of trust-distrust is +60%.
