According to investigators, in November 2019, the former head of the medical equipment monitoring department of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the City of Sevastopol “MIAC”, which purchases equipment for the needs of medical institutions, organized an auction for the supply of tables for autopsy at an inflated price, contributing to the victory of a certain commercial organization. However, the contract for the performance of the contract was concluded with another supplier. The accused and his accomplice – a former commercial director of a private enterprise – tried to oppose the execution of the contract, which threatened the budget with damage of 16 million rubles.
