Anatoly Altshtein, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, employee of the Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, is sure that parents do not need to be asked if their children can be vaccinated against coronavirus.

As Professor MSK1.RU stated, all children should be vaccinated, taking into account medical requirements, without asking their parents: “This liberalism of ours in the use of vaccines is very expensive.”

“In Russia, adults make decisions for their child. Do you understand what picture? “Oh, he will be vaccinated,” many will say. But people don’t understand any of this. The state has checked and tested this vaccine and considers it necessary to use it. No one asks mothers if she wants to vaccinate her child with a diphtheria or tetanus vaccine. Yes, this is also kind of voluntary. But there are strong restrictions – an unvaccinated child will not be taken to kindergarten and school, ”Altshtein said.

He stressed that Sputnik M is a well-tested, prepared variation of the vaccine that works. “Absolutely the same as Sputnik V, only diluted five times. In Sputnik M, the concentration of the main component, the virus, is five times lower,” the professor said.

Vaccination with Sputnik M takes place in two stages. A teenager should be re-vaccinated after 21 days. A sufficient amount of antibodies is formed on the 42nd day from the start of immunization. Children with allergies to vaccine components and acute infectious diseases should not be vaccinated. With caution, you can vaccinate adolescents with kidney pathologies, diabetes and autoimmune diseases.
