A number of anti-COVID vaccines may be phased out in the future because the scientific data on their effectiveness against new strains has not been fully published. This is the opinion of the infectious disease doctor Yevgeny Timakov, whose words are quoted by Gazeta.Ru.

Timakov explained that until the data on the vaccine is published, the drug will not be in demand. And if it is not in demand, then it does not make sense to produce this drug. Timakov noted that the fate of such vaccines will depend on when the results of clinical trials are published.
