Former national soccer player Frickson Erazo was appointed as district director of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion in Esmeraldas.
He himself confirmed the news by expressing his joy at the appointment on his personal Twitter profile and thanking the President of the Republic, Guillermo Lasso, and the Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion, Esteban Bernal.
In addition to being selected for the national soccer team, Erazo was one of the captains of Barcelona SC, the most popular team in Ecuador.
