Actor Leonid Kuravlev was transferred from a hospital in Kommunarka to a hospice. This is reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
According to Baza, the artist had viral-bacterial pneumonia, due to which his lungs were affected by 25% and 30%.
As a result, pneumonia was overcome, but due to an incurable disease, doctors assigned Kuravlev a palliative status. The artist is now in the hospice named after Vera Millionshchikova.
“In the hospice, the actor will now be under the supervision of a palliative care doctor,” the message said.
Recall that earlier Kuravlev was diagnosed with cerebrovascular disease, which affects blood vessels and leads to impaired blood circulation in the brain.
The media learned about the hospitalization of the 85-year-old artist on January 10, but Kuravlev was taken to the hospital in Kommunarka from a nursing home on January 5. The other day it became known that the relatives took away all of Kuravlev’s belongings from the institution.
His son Vasily stated that there is a positive trend in his father’s condition, “but at a slow pace.”
