In the movie “Our Magic Encanto” we meet the extraordinary family of Madrigals. The heroes live in a magical house in the lively, wonderful town of Encanto, somewhere far away in the mountains of Colombia. The magic that surrounds this area has endowed all the children in the family with supernatural gifts, ranging from superhuman strength to the ability to heal disease. All – except Mirabel. Even so, when it turns out that the wizarding powers of Encanto are in danger, Mirabel concludes that she, the only ordinary child of the Madrigals, is the last hope of her extraordinary family.

The original songs for the film were written by Emmy®, Grammy® and Tony® winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton”, “Vaiana”). The song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”, performed by Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz, was a real success this week – it reached 4th place on the Billboard Hot list. 100 (most popular songs in the US). Thus, the song from “Encanto” broke through “Let It Go”, which in April 2014 took the 5th place in the same ranking.
Paste Magazine reports that “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has been played about 29 million times in the last few days alone. The presence of songs from Disney movies so high on the charts is not at all obvious. “A Whole New World” from “Alladyn” reached number one in 1993, while Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” did the same a year later. “Colors of the Wind” by Vanessa Williams of “Pocahontas” also reached fourth place in 1995.
In the Polish language version of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” it is entitled “We are not talking about Bruno”. This piece was sung by: Anna Serafińska, Damian Ukeje, Monika Borzym, Antoni Scardina, Natalia Piotrowska-Paciorek and Ada Szczepaniak.
