The US authorities will consider any measures in the event of Russia’s aggressive actions in Ukraine. The corresponding warning was voiced by the United States Permanent Representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

According to her, military support to Ukraine, including the shipment of weapons, is being considered as a response. According to the Moldovan television channel Jurnal TV, Thomas-Greenfield recalled that over the past seven years, Washington has provided assistance to Kiev in this area in the amount of $2.7 billion.

During a recent visit to Ukraine, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced additional defense funding for the country.

“We hope to find a diplomatic solution. But if we don’t find him, then we will respond to any actions that the Russian Federation takes regarding Ukraine,” the diplomat stressed.

Recall that relations between Russia and Ukraine have again deteriorated since November amid reports of the movement of Russian military equipment in the border regions.
