The authorities of Belarus should be engaged in strengthening the military security of the country, especially on the border with Ukraine. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with officials, the message was published on the website of the head of state.
“Just 10 years ago, no one imagined that such a moment as today would come and we would have to create military units and a whole association to protect our southern borders. With pain in our hearts, we are watching everything that is happening in Ukraine,” Lukashenka said.
According to him, “its current political leadership, being under external control, sometimes behaves unpredictably and inadequately,” therefore, in case of unpredictability, inadequacy, one must decide. “Almost 1500 km of the southern border of Belarus and Ukraine is a considerable length.
