Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Tokarev has been detained. It is reported by RBC with reference to a source in the transport industry. The interlocutor in one of the railway operators confirmed this information.
“I only know that he wrote for his dismissal even before the New Year and did not appear at the Ministry of Transport,” said an acquaintance of Tokarev and confirmed a former colleague in the department.
According to one of the interlocutors, documents are being seized in the building of the Ministry of Transport.
According to RBC, Spetstransstroy has been in the bankruptcy stage since 2021. In November, RBC reported on searches in the structures of the ex-head of the company and former deputy head of the Ministry of Construction, Yuri Reilyan.
Vladimir Tokarev began his service in the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Belgorod Region in 2000. He held the positions of Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, First Deputy General Director of Spetstransstroy LLC. Since 2021, he has been appointed Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia.
He was awarded the Order of Friendship and departmental awards.
