The cost of archival cellular tariffs may increase. This is reported by Kommersant, citing three sources in the communications market.

According to the publication, VimpelCom (Beeline brand. – Ed.) will soon raise prices for archival tariff plans by 10%.

“Since February, MegaFon plans to raise prices, then Tele2. In early January, MTS already notified subscribers about an increase in the cost of tariffs by 60 rubles while maintaining the current set of services, ”the publication says.

Vimpelcom’s press service confirmed that such an issue is indeed being considered, and stated that subscribers will be able to choose additional bonuses or change their tariff plan. MegaFon and Tele2 declined to comment. MTS noted that they also gave subscribers the opportunity to choose to remain at the current tariff or switch to another one.

Earlier, Izvestia, citing informed sources, reported that Russian mobile operators could increase tariffs for their services by 8-10% in 2022. The difference in approaches is associated with competition, which allows you to balance offers on prices. Among the prerequisites for a possible increase in tariffs, they called the “Yarovaya law”, forcing companies to ensure the storage of voice and Internet traffic of subscribers, as well as free access to socially significant sites, including portals of state and municipal authorities, effective from December 1.
