The Koptevsky Court of Moscow decided to detain Shugaib Bolatukaev, a resident of Dagestan, accused of insulting passengers on a Moscow bus. According to Interfax, the man was arrested for two months, until March 16.
Bolatukaev is accused of committing a crime under paragraph “a” part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Telegram channel Readovka has distributed a video of the incident on the bus. The young man aggressively declared to those present that they were “pigs and creatures”, called the Russians “Nazis” and promised that “the time will come, we will beat you all, we Dagestanis.” He also shouted, addressing the elderly passenger, that he was not afraid of punishment, because he was “at home, I am a citizen of Russia.”
According to the Baza Telegram channel, the man had previously been convicted twice.
According to Kizilyurt News, the parents of the 29-year-old man apologized for their son. The city hall of Kizilyurt, where the man comes from, said that no one forced his parents to apologize. As explained in the administration to the edition “Rise”, their act was really sincere. The parents also asked the UK to take into account that the Dagestan has two children.
