The AMT resumed the process from January 17. Cars that are not retired for more than a year could be auctioned off.

The cars that are in the vehicle retention centers (CRV) of Quito, for violating the Organic Comprehensive Criminal Code (COIP), can now be released by their owners. The Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT) resumed the process from January 17.
