In St. Petersburg, 67-year-old People’s Artist of Russia Tatyana Malyagina fell and broke her arm on the way to the Theater on Vasilyevsky.

According to Fontanka, Malyagina was supposed to play in the play “The Idiot”. On the way to the theater, she slipped and fell badly. The diagnosis is a broken arm. The actress was sent to the hospital, where they put a cast.

In the coming month, Malyagina will not be able to go on stage, the press service of the Theater on Vasilevsky reported. The head of the theater, Vladimir Slovokhotov, said that due to what happened in the near future, viewers will not be able to see the production of “How Zoya Feed the Geese,” where Malyagina plays the main role.

According to him, the situation is “very unpleasant.” “There is chaos in the city (meaning ice all over St. Petersburg – approx. Rosbalt). We will investigate and find out exactly where it fell and who is responsible there,” Slovokhotov promised. He clarified that Malyagina had “half a body in a cast.”

It should be noted that in social networks, Petersburgers massively complain that the city has turned into a real skating rink in recent days against the backdrop of a thaw.
