In one of the hospitals in Glasgow in Scotland, an American who was considered dead was caught, accused of rape and involvement in kidnappings. The story resembles a detective, writes The Guardian.

American Nicholas of Russia was accused of rape back in 2008, a little later it became known that he was involved in kidnappings. Russia ran from the police for years, changed names and documents, and in 2020 faked his own death: he allegedly died of lymphoma, his body was burned, and the ashes were scattered to the wind.

But covid put everything in its place. In 2021, Rossi fell ill and was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. He was so sick that he spent several weeks in intensive care. He named the doctors Arthur Knight, but in the end he was brought to clean water. Rossi was detained, now the issue of his extradition to American law enforcement officers is being resolved. At the same time, as the police say, if it were not for resuscitation and covid, most likely, Rossi would not have been able to find and detain.
