Activists of “Young Petersburg” are concerned about the inaction of the authorities because of the massive problems with garbage collection.

“Live connection from the Rat Kingdom: thanks to the garbage mountains in St. Petersburg, every rat has its own home,” the activists write on VKontakte.

They pay attention to the abundance of rubbish heaps in the city’s garbage heaps in the yards. Public activists lay responsibility for what is happening on the regional waste disposal operator Nevsky Ecological Operator, with whom the city authorities have recently concluded an agreement.

“Over the past two weeks, the city has turned into one continuous dump. Legendary heaps have already appeared in every yard, the stench of which all the local rats ran to, the activists are indignant. “Isn’t it time to give every official instead of a shovel a garbage bag and a ticket to the landfill?”

Social activists staged an action – dressed in rat costumes, they gladly plunged into the garbage heaps of one of the St. Petersburg courtyards.

Recall that earlier Rosbalt wrote that St. Petersburg residents began to complain about untimely garbage collection – immediately after a single regional operator for the treatment of MSW appeared in the city.

So, residents of Kupchino complain about the breeding of rats in the front door. “Already even in the daytime, they feel comfortable and run without fear of people. Infested with rats and a garbage chute. And all day long we have a container from the garbage chute filled with garbage, ”wrote a local resident.

In the comments, the townspeople agreed that since the New Year they have been facing the problem of garbage collection. “Garbage has not been taken out since the New Year. What fool came up with the innovation with garbage collection? Rats will soon fill all areas, ”the Petersburger is worried.
