The Public Mobility, Transit and Transportation Company (EMOV) of Cuenca enabled its channels for vehicle registration and inspection procedures as of this Friday the 14th.
According to the vehicle registration schedule for 2022, issued by the National Transit Agency (ANT), in January all cars can be registered without restriction of license plate numbers.
The authorized centers are in the sectors of Mayancela, Capulispamba, land terminal and underground of Parque de la Madre.
The procedures for renewal were closed in Cuenca on December 29 last.
The mayor of Cuenca, Pedro Palacios, ordered that all service points be ready to serve citizens, with strict compliance with biosecurity measures.
To prevent the spread of the virus and protect the safety of users, the vaccination card will be requested before entering the registration centers.
Palacios recalled that in the EMOV EP it is possible to carry out different procedures online through the website www.emov.gob.ec, such as: online vehicle registration, shifts for RTV, payments, download of the annual circulation document.
The hours of attention in the registration centers are from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, uninterruptedly. Instead, only in Capulispamba and Mayancela the attention extends until Saturday, from 08:00 to 12:00.
In other cities of the country, the vehicle registration and inspection process will start this Monday, January 17.
Last year, several review centers had a percentage of owners who did not show up for their review on schedule. (I)
