In Quito, the control of the vaccination certificate in public, commercial and school transport will be random

On the afternoon of this Thursday, January 13, 2022, the authorities of the Quito Mobility Secretariat reported on the compulsory presentation of the certificate or vaccination card in public, commercial, school and institutional transportation throughout the DMQ.

But nevertheless, the controls will be random, the entry of the stations and stops will not be forced. The authorities reported that the next eight days will be to inform users of the measure.

The agents will be able to implement operations at the stations or units where they will verify the correct use of the mask and the presentation of the inoculation document against COVID-19.

Sanctions

Regarding the sanctions for people who do not carry the vaccination card, the authorities They did not announce one in particular.
