Zelensky advised not to be alone with Putin

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskiy is better off avoiding personal talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. This opinion was expressed by the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, he is quoted by “Gordon”.

“I would advise Zelenskiy not to conduct separate negotiations with Putin. He can speak to Putin only with our Western allies, the United States and Europe. If Zelensky starts any separate negotiations with Putin, Putin will eat him for breakfast, ”Yatsenyuk said.

In his opinion, the best way to stop Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is to act jointly to Ukraine, the United States and Europe. Yatsenyuk added that Russia wants to present itself as a victim in negotiations with the US and NATO. At the same time, she herself “signed the Budapest Memorandum and violated it,” the former prime minister said. After the annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of the conflict in Donbass, Russia is still said that it is “someone is threatening them,” the ex-prime minister added, noting that Ukraine needs lethal defense weapons to stop Russia.
