The St. Petersburg Prosecutor’s Office explained how the fight against QR codes will turn out for public catering

The St. Petersburg Prosecutor’s Office reminded the owners of cafes and restaurants what ignoring the QR code system would mean for them. Previously, city bars created a “resistance map” with places that do not recognize Antique Ordinance 121 and do not ask visitors for vaccination documents.

“For admitting visitors to organizations (public places, trade, food) without providing one of the documents specified by the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated November 12, 2021 No. 1053n, for example, a QR code on vaccinations, the perpetrators may be brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 6.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, ”the prosecutor’s office notes.

So, according to Part 1 of Art. 6.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, heads will be involved for violation of sanitary rules and hygienic standards, according to Part 2. – for the same actions in the context of the spreading coronavirus infection.

“In addition, for violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules, which inadvertently entailed a mass illness or poisoning of people or created a threat of such consequences, criminal liability is provided in the form of a fine from 500 thousand to 700 thousand rubles. In case of violation of the sanitary and epidemiological rules, resulting in the death of people by negligence, imprisonment for a period of 3 to 7 years is envisaged, ”the department said.

We will remind, the St. Petersburg businessman Alexander Konovalov on January 5 in social networks said that he refuses to obey the coronavirus restrictions. He wrote that “chicken codes” for him are “the last frontier separating the country from a digital concentration camp” and said that in his establishments they would not ask clients for codes. In the city, a system of codes was introduced on January 2.
