Investigators looking for a mother of an abandoned baby on the sidelines in the Novosibirsk region

In the Novosibirsk region, a criminal case was opened into the attempted murder of a baby who was found in a box on the side of the road.

“On the side of a road near the village of Sosnovka, Novosibirsk District, Novosibirsk Region, a minor discovered (January 7 – ed.) A box containing a newborn child. At present, the life and health of a minor is not in danger, ”says a statement on the website of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region.

The circumstances of the incident are established, the mother of the baby is being sought.

Let us also recall that in mid-December, a St. Petersburg woman received a suspended sentence due to the death of a child in a bathtub, and the criminal case came to a verdict on the second attempt. According to the investigation, on March 8, a drunk woman left her young son in a bathtub filled with water. The child born in 2020 was left alone and choked, it follows from the case materials.
