The Golden Globes went to Will Smith for Best Actor in a Drama (King Richard), Nicole Kidman (Best Actress in a Drama in Being Ricardo), Andrew Garfield (Best Actor in a Comedy / Musical – Tick Tock, boom! “), Rachel Zegler (Best Actress in a Comedy / Musical for West Side Story).

Disney’s Encanto has been voted Best Animated Feature Film.

Music for the film “Dune” by German composer Hans Zimmer was recognized as the best original music, and No Time To Die by Billie Eilish – the best composition (“No Time to Die”).

Recall that the Golden Globe is an award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. It has been awarded since 1944 for work in motion pictures and television pictures by the vote of about 90 international journalists living in Hollywood.

As noted by RBC, the awards ceremony was held behind closed doors and was not broadcast on television or online; the organizers published the list of winners on the website of the award following its results.
