“Belarus has already encountered this”: Lukashenko sympathized with Tokayev and named the goal of the “bandits”

The President of Belarus said that the protests in Kazakhstan were organized by “bandit formations” that “showed the whole world the threat of international terrorism.”

Alexander Lukashenko suggested that “the goal of the extremists is the destabilization of Kazakhstan, a fratricidal war and a coup.”

He also reminded his colleague Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev that he himself “faced a similar situation” and promised to help stabilize the situation.

Earlier, Lukashenko suggested that protesters in Kazakhstan apologize to the military and negotiate with the authorities.

In turn, the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin said that the riots occurred as a result of “a conspiracy of two parties to organize a coup in the country.”

Let us remind you that protests began in Kazakhstan after the New Year. The protesters demanded lower prices for liquefied gas. The government of Kazakhstan has resigned, a state of emergency is in force in the country. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev requested assistance from the CSTO.
