Several subjects attacked the victim when said vehicle was parked at a gas station.
Peña Guzmán was a passenger in the taxi and had no opportunity to hide from the two men who, on board a motorcycle, intercepted the car there to commit the crime.
After the event, the attackers fled the scene threatening the witnesses.
At the site, Peña was still alive. With the help of several people and relatives, he was transferred to the San Vicente de Paúl hospital and then to a private clinic, where they confirmed his death.

The body of Peña Guzmán was transferred in the Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences vehicle for the respective autopsy of the law, while his relatives requested to investigate the murder of this man who registered five arrests for different crimes.
