Social networks of the city of Lesosibirsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory) are discussing a video showing drunken doctors having fun. As Telegram-chat “PE Lesosibirsk” explains, the video was filmed by a patient of one of the city hospitals, who was admitted to a medical facility in serious condition and was awaiting surgery. Not waiting for the doctors on New Year’s Eve, he went on “reconnaissance” and found doctors in one of the offices welcoming the New Year, among whom there were even resuscitators. According to unconfirmed information, the patient died without waiting for the operation, but before his death he managed to send the video to his family.
The opinions of the townspeople discussing this video were divided in two. Some recall examples of indifference and negligence of doctors from their own biographies, others cannot believe that a seriously ill patient (according to some reports, he was in intensive care) could quite actively move around the hospital.
In the meantime, the prosecutor’s office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory began checking this information. According to Kommersant, the check is being carried out on the initiative of the victim’s relatives.
The Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is also conducting a thorough check of everything that happens in the Lesosibirsk interdistrict hospital during this period, reporting that the resonant video was filmed by the relatives of one of the patients, while the plot of the video and the patient’s death are not related. At the same time, according to TASS, the check will be as complete and comprehensive as possible, concerning, in particular, the quality of the medical care provided.
