Inhabitants of the Malvinas Uno compound, which belongs to the Jambelí parish, told local media that the kidnapping of two people had been carried out.

Three people died and three wounded are the result of the incursion of armed persons in the San Carlos compound (Cascales canton) and Jambelí parish (Lago Agrio canton), in the Sucumbíos province.
The two violent events occurred almost simultaneously, around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
According to a police report, in San Carlos residents of the sector reported that six people of unknown identity arrived aboard three motorcycles and fired several shots at Carlos Párraga Domínguez, 60, who died instantly.

Witnesses indicated that two female people who were at the scene of the incident were wounded by a firearm and were taken in a private vehicle to the city of Nueva Loja, to receive first aid.
The attackers fled the scene towards the Barranca Bermeja border area, which borders Colombia.
In the same way, in the town center of the Jambelí parish, Lago Agrio canton, seven armed people who were mobilizing in a van with dark glass fired several shots at some people who were in a house.
As a result of the attack, a woman died and two more people were injured; later one of them, male, would have died.

Meanwhile, residents of the Malvinas Uno compound, which belongs to the Jambelí parish, reported to local media that a group of eight heavily armed people aboard two vans entered the compound and fired rifles while attempting to assault a home.
Apparently, the residents counted, they kidnapped two citizens (the owner of the house and a neighbor).
