Swedish doctors and photo models will be replaced by artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence will soon leave about 30 professions unemployed. This is reported by the Swedish Institute for Labor Market Assessment and Education Policy, whose research results are referred to by the publication Dagens Nyheter.

In the near future, “smart” technologies will replace people not only in “dangerous” industries or where monotonous monotonous work is in demand (for example, the work of a cleaner). Robots will be able to replace nurses, who have become, like other health workers, especially in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, and even some doctors – radiologists and gynecologists. This is due to the quickness of the reaction, explains Max Gordon, an orthopedist at Danderyud Hospital, adding that artificial intelligence has already learned how to diagnose different types of fractures. Now the robots should be taught to recommend the form of treatment themselves.

In addition to medical workers, robots can replace accountants, salespeople, drivers, fitters, printing press operators, postmen, and even fashion models and decorators. Research participants believe that digitalization threatens the loss of 2.5 million jobs in Sweden alone. However, they assume that the high demand for employees with cognitive and social skills “above average” will continue.
