In the Kazakh city of Taldykorgan, almost all supermarkets are closed, food prices have skyrocketed, drivers are fighting at gas stations, there are almost no working ATMs, and there are long queues to the rest. It is reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.

On the eve of this city, protesters demolished a monument to Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Queues for ATMs are observed throughout the country, including in the capital Nur-Sultan.

Marauders continue to operate in Alma-Ata. So, today they are smashing a Sulpak hardware store. Previously, the store employees covered the entrance to the premises with bricks, but this did not help.

The riots in Kazakhstan continue for the fifth day. The reason was a sharp increase in prices for liquefied gas, but then the protest became political. Dissatisfied citizens demand a change of power and elites, the return of direct elections, an end to political persecution, etc. At these moments, at the request of the head of state, the CSTO peacekeeping forces enter the country.
