Dozens of taxpayers attended the ground floor of the Municipal Palace of Chone to comply with the payment of property taxes, at the beginning of the collection of values on the morning of Monday 3.
Carlos Cevallos, 67 years old, was the first citizen to comply with this procedure.
“I like to pay early because I stay calm all year round, without worries; I am also going to register my cart soon, ”said the older adult.
Likewise, Noemí Argandoña went to pay for her properties at the beginning of the collection period. “I decided to pay on the first business day of the year because previously I had a bad experience for not paying on time and I wasted the discounts,” said Noemí.
Those who attend the municipal headquarters in person must carry their vaccination card and maintain anti-COVID-19 biosecurity measures. There, it is attended from 08:00 to 17:00.
In this Manabi town, like other cantons, in the first two weeks of January a 10% discount is granted on the value of the property tax. The percentage will gradually decrease 1% every fifteen days until next June.
In addition, citizens can consult the pending values and make payments through the Chone council website (https://enlinea.chone.gob.ec). Likewise, users have options such as ServiPagos, Western Union, Banco Guayaquil / del Barrio, Banco Pichincha, Facilito services network and BanEcuador.
