They propose to nullify discounts to workers due to licenses for COVID-19

Congresswoman Isabel Cortez Aguirre, from the parliamentary group Together for Peru, presented a bill that proposes nullify discounts on workers’ wages because of the licenses, within the framework of the regulations in force in the state of sanitary emergency.

In addition, Bill No. 1097/2021-CR indicates that any debt owed by the worker will be forgiven or a worker for her employer and who is pending payment, either in whole or in part.

Likewise, the bill, presented on December 30, 2021, orders that the inclusion of liquidation, at the end of the employment relationship, of the hours of work to be compensated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
