A 44-year-old man was murdered at dawn on Monday the 3rd when he was sucking inside an apartment in a condominium located in front of the Salinas boardwalk, in the San Lorenzo sector.
The shots came from outside the building, according to witnesses. The attackers allegedly were traveling in two vehicles in which they later fled from that tourist area of Salinas.
The impacts reached the victim when he would have looked out on the balcony of the first floor of the building where he had stayed since the beginning of the holiday to receive 2022, without imagining that only the joy would last 52 hours in this new year.
On the table was an alcohol drink that the victim had been enjoying hours before his murder, a fact that was registered at 04:00 on January 3.
Édison Miranda, provincial head of the Police (e), stated that the now deceased, identified as Cristhian Omar TC, had a criminal record for possession of substances subject to control in 2015.
The Police, together with the intelligence units, the Judicial Police and Dinased carried out a raid on a department located in front of the Salinas Yacht Club in the Chipipe sector, where four women and six men were detained who were placed under the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office to that they render their versions. Then those people were released.
Miranda indicated that the suspects were traveling in two vehicles in which they had been drinking on the beaches of Salinas.
The victim was found two shots in the chest, but six ballistic evidence was collected from a 9-millimeter caliber weapon.
“According to witnesses and the technological means gathered, first two vehicles pass, a Blue Ford Explorer and a Chevrolet Tahoe Blazer, from there they shoot …”, said Miranda. In this case, a conflict between bands is not ruled out. (I)
