Coronavirus infection in children can manifest itself in different ways, and, in addition to respiratory symptoms and problems with the kidneys, liver and gastrointestinal tract, it is also possible complications in the form of “cove fingers”. This was announced to RIA Novosti by Alexander Gorelov, Deputy Director for Research of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor.
According to him, “relatively recently, scientists have described the so-called ‘covid fingers’ – a complication after covid, reminiscent of frostbite.”
We also recall that at the end of July last year, the director of the Scientific Information Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Viral Infections Georgy Vikulov called an exaggeration of the media reports that almost a third of children who have had coronavirus are more likely to develop heart, kidney, brain, and digestive system diseases.
And at the end of December, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin instructed the relevant Duma committees to find out whether mandatory vaccination of children and adolescents against coronavirus will really begin in Russia.
